Yayasan Kasih Yang Utama (YKYU) is an anti-trafficking organization that provides prevention services for women and children that are vulnerable to trafficking and exploitation, so that they are able to reach their full potential. There are three areas we work in prevention including Transit Monitoring, Community Development, and Awareness Education.
Transit Monitoring intercepts the victims before they depart via transit points.
Community Development Centers exist to strengthen and empower families that are vulnerable to exploitation and the crime of trafficking in persons (TIP). The centers are safe place for children to learn and explore themselves through various classes such as tutoring, life skills, and entrepreneurship opportunities.
YKYU is also active in advocating and educating the public regarding TIP, by speaking at various events.
